If these walls could talk. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that many of the loft spaces available in Midtown are actually newer construction — generally from around the late ‘90s or early 2000s. Not so with Peachtree Lofts: this structure was erected back in the 1950s to serve as the home base of the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and by the late ‘70s, it was pretty-much abandoned. The circle came back around however, in ‘95, when the whole building received a massive, foundation-to-roof renovation. Today, Peachtree Lofts is one of the coolest examples of legit, refurbished-loft architecture in Midtown. There’s certainly a new-urban, retro vibe throughout, and thanks to modular floor plans, big windows and high ceilings, a unit can contain as much personality as the owner wants to instill. And heck — it’s right on Peachtree.
