Tiny 30346 doesn’t claim a whole lot of land. Perimeter Mall is the primary attraction here, but that’s OK: it’s a shopping center worth of its own ZIP code. Outside the walls of the mall however, are a very few, albeit worthy, points of note.
A collection of luxury apartments, constructed around the turn of the 21st century, provide residents with a centralized location to the I-285 Perimeter, not to mention the Dunwoody Transit MARTA station—it’s not too hard to get to where you need to go, should necessity require a trip outside of this relatively self-contained ecosystem.
Otherwise, this small parcel of land, punctuated by the main thoroughfare of Ashford Dunwoody Road, operates as a sort-of gateway to Dunwoody, one of Atlanta’s oldest and most prestigious suburban towns.
