Median Price Per Square Foot
Definition:
The Median Price Per Square Foot is the price where exactly half of homes listed have a price per square foot higher than this price and exactly half are lower than this price.

Median Price Per Square Foot allows for the best comparison between homes or different prices and sizes within the same area. It's a good starting point when determining the value of your home. Remember that not all square footage is treated equal (finished basements are valued less than above ground square footage for example).
